Global Elementor typography and color definitions created a shared foundation. Fewer font variants reduced visual drift and unnecessary loading, while a simplified palette made design decisions repeatable across the site.

The goal was not to chase one perfect test run. It was to remove the underlying causes of slow rendering and unnecessary complexity.

Simplifying the stack
A faster website with fewer overlapping systems.
Caching, lazy loading, scripts, images, and fonts had accumulated across several plugins. WP Rocket became the primary performance layer and Imagify handled image optimization, reducing the number of systems future developers would need to understand.
